Wednesday 29 May - AN EXPERT GUIDE ON HOW TO MEDITATE  

Whether you are new to Mindfulness or looking to hone your practice, this is the online class for you. Martin Stepek is one of Scotland's most authentic and respected teachers of Mindfulness. He has practicing Mindfulness for over 20 years and teaching it since 2004. He will gently guide you in the art of meditation, giving you the benefit of his vast experience. Monday 1 July - THINK POSITIVELY FOR A RESILIENT YOU

If your mind is plagued by negative thoughts and it’s having an impact on your happiness then join Martin on this online class! Martin will show you how to use Mindfulness to let go of unhelpful negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts which will boost your mental health and well-being and lead to greater happiness. Mindfulness gently builds resilience so that stressful situations have less impact on our happiness and well-being. Monday 26th August - STOP WORRYING

Sometimes it can seem like we worry about everything under the sun doesn’t it? Money, work, health, relationships and family, how we perceive ourselves, even pets, and where we live. It’s obviously natural for us to do it but that doesn’t make worrying any less fraught, distressing, stressful or draining of our sense of enjoying life. Martin will show you how to use Mindfulness to recognise worry very quickly. He will teach you some simple tools and techniques and so that you’ll eventually find that your worrying dwindles and is more easily managed. CLICK HERE TO BOOK

Monday 30th September - LET GO OF GUILT

Do you often feel as though you don’t measure up? Perhaps in work you are not moving up the career ladder as quickly as you should? Are you overweight and feel all your friends are slimmer or healthier? Maybe you’re not as good a parent to your children as you’d like? Martin will explore the issues of shame and guilt and see how we can use Mindfulness to get rid of these negative emotions and replace them with positive helpful ways to look at life. 30th May, 2019 - 8.15pm: Mindfulness @ Hope Cafe

Come along to Hope Cafe for conversation, tea, coffee & cake & wellness. Martin Stepek is delighted to join the team to offer a Mindfulness session from 8.15pm to 9pm. Pop down to Hope Cafe at St Ninian's Church Hall 10 Vicars Road Stonehouse, ML9 3EB from 7pm on 30th May as Martin guides you in how to experience peace of mind with Mindfulness. Donations to Hope Cafe welcome on the night. 

1st June, 2019 - 7pm: Free Poetry Reading: The Project Cafe, 134 Renfrew Street, G3 6ST

Polish-American John Guzlowski has been twice-nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Born in a post-war refugee camp in Germany he lives in the USA.
Polish-Scot Martin Stepek collaborated with Guzlowski to create Waiting for Guzlowski, a dialogue of micro poems on life, death, war and peace.
Join Martin Stepek and Christie Williamson in the reading of this remarkable volume, plus some extras just for you!

18th July, 2019 - 7.00pm: Mindfulness Session: Low Parks Museum, Hamilton

To complement Low Park Museum's first exhibition in their refurbished Fives Court Gallery, Martin Stepek, one of Scotland's foremost Mindfulness teachers, Author, Poet, ex-Sunday Herald Mindfulness Columnist & Founder of Ten for Zen joins them to gives you an introduction to Mindfulness and explores how to use the simple tools and techniques to both heighten your appreciation of the art on display, and improve your mental health and well-being.
